IT SUPPORT

We have an exciting IT Support role for our client, based close to Kingston Upon Thames. This role will also include some travel to different sites, therefore you will need your own transport

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops in support of each of the systems as required
  • Provide helpdesk advice and support for the systems to home managers and staff
  • Provide day to day support for the staff and ensure appropriate investigation of any errors or problems with any of the systems
  • Accurate input of information into each system
  • Maintain high quality data and reports from the systems
  • Produce accurate and timely Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reports for meetings, General Management, Home managers, Finance, and other relevant parties
  • Support local training programmes for each system
  • Advise in the drafting and amending of a Rostering Policy and associated system
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Take direction from the Programme Manager responsible for the systems deployment, maintenance, support, and development of the systems.
  • Support the Programme Manager to manage change process with all stakeholders and ensure effective communication, ensure potential blocks and difficulties are communicated to the Programme Manager
  • Support the Programme Manager to implement an effective system to evaluate and measure benefits, setting objectives with managers
  • Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Manage the daytoday business operation of each system
  • Provide support and knowledge to staff and managers
  • Facilitate workshops with the manager / deputies / other staff in a timely fashion, using persuasion skills and a flexible approach to meeting staff time commitments
  • Assist in the collection of data and produce home/department roster data including staff working restrictions in line with roster policies and procedures, indicating managers / leads where work restrictions in place are unworkable and need to be discussedwith the staff
  • To use data provided by managers for individual areas, establishing any problems using analysis skills matching up where data in different systems conflicts
  • Undertake such duties as may be required to ensure that the systems is fully incorporated within each home. Analysis of complex problems that occur with the users / software and rectification of the issue/s.
  • To provide day to day support for the users and diagnose and remedy any errors or malfunctions of our systems and escalate to the software provider.
  • To manage change within the Group, being a champion of the software and encouraging others to adapt to a new ways of working
  • To participate in subprojects as required
  • Undertake pilots for new developments of the software / interface as required
  • Make sure that there is annual leave and illness cover at all times Training and Workshops
  • Facilitate training for all systems across all necessary staff groups.
  • Training can take place 121 on a group session or online
  • Devise and adapt training to suit the service needs including creating online content for the business to access Reporting
  • Work with key stakeholders in Operations, Finance and HR and Marketing to ensure timely and accurate information on manpower is provided
  • To work with key stakeholders in Operations, Finance and HR on budget setting and workforce planning based on erostering data and occupancy data from CRM
  • Responsible for the preparation and distribution of KPI reports on a monthly basis
  • Work across all organisation sites as required for the roll out, development and maintenance of the systems
  • Travel required to all sites across the organisation
  • Support with implementation of administrative processes and systems across the group
  • From time to time attend national and regional events, training, and meetings externally to the organisation and arranged by the software supplier
  • Assist with all upgrade installations of the systems
  • Evaluate and assess new (forthcoming) software upgrades and advise the organisation on potential roll out dates
  • Communicate with internal IT and the software supplier on a regular basis, reporting faults, problems and user requests as well as giving regular feedback on the software and making suggestions for improvement
  • To provide advice on Organisational policy and its implementation, suggested changes to the policies as appropriate
  • Input issues into relevant audit logs to ensure accurate data is recorded and an audit trail is created
  • Work within standard administrative procedures, to tasks and duties as set by the Project Manager, and Head of Operations who will review performance and undertake appraisal
