West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Policy, Process, and Systems Officer to join our dynamic Commercial team.


In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Policy, Process, and Systems Manager, driving the management, integration, development, and maintenance of key policies, processes, and systems that underpin our Commercial function.


From e-Tendering and Contract Management to Procurement Pipelines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and compliance with legislative obligations.


As the first point of contact for commercial reporting, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional communication skills and ability to draft and implement procedures effectively.

Your attention to detail and strong understanding of compliance requirements will guarantee our adherence to transparency standards.

The Role
Reporting to the Policy, Process and Systems Manager, the role will comprise the following responsibilities:

As a driving force behind our Commercial function, you'll take support the management, integration, development, and maintenance of our Policies, Processes, and Systems.

Ensure compliance with legislative and corporate publication and transparency obligations.
Act as the first point of contact for all commercial reporting requirements.

Policy Savvy:
strong knowledge and experience in policy development and implementation, along with an understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.

a solid understanding of commercial operations, including procurement, contract management, tendering processes and grants.

strong IT skills including user of Microsoft packages including Advanced Excel. Your proficiency in utilizing technology will enhance our data analysis and reporting capabilities.
