We are looking for a Relief Security Officer to join us at our client site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, who are a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation which has subsidiaries including Peugeot, Citroen and Chrysler.

The main responsibility of the Relief Security Officer is to play a vital role in covering the core security team absence and ensure that we have sufficient cover on our site.

You will be safeguarding people, property and assets.

The responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including surveillance and patrolling to prevent and detect security breaches, controlling access to facilities and responding promptly to emergencies.

A typical day in the life as a Relief Security Officer:

  • Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned site, providing for the security and safety of the property and personnel.
  • Conducts periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
  • Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Controls access to the site though the admittance process.
  • Conducts inbound/outbound package inspection.

  • SIA Licence
  • Driving Licence
  • Experience with consistent and effective communication at the highest level of the assigned business units, including personal security briefings with the top executives of the assigned business units.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as, communications and decisionmaking
  • Appropriate knowledge of security operations.

Desirable

  • Fire Fighting experience at incipient level (early stage of a fire).
  • DS SIA Licence
  • CCTV SIA licence
We are willing to train individuals in both the above requirements
