The head of trusts and personal tax position involves managing the trust and tax team within the firm's leading private client group.

Key duties include managing the trust accounts, providing advice to trustees, supervising juniors, and delegating tasks accordingly to ensure the team maintains its successful, efficient, and collaborative nature.

Whilst the role mainly focuses on these areas, other more general project work would include matters such as taxation of deceased estates and IHT reporting.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Providing written advice to trustees in relation to the financial, tax and trust law position of trusts under management,
Acting as a first point of contact for trustees, beneficiaries and other clients and intermediaries,
Preparation of IHT returns for 10year and exit charges.
