Electrical Maintenance Technician - 3-shift - £45,000 + benefits + overtime
Nigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a successful high-volume manufacturer based in Newcastle. Looking to add an experienced Electrical Technician to their team.
OTE circa £50,000 +

The Role
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for

Electrical maintenance activities across site, ensuring all PPMs and breakdowns are completed within a timely manner
Provide electrical support to the team
Investigate root cause of breakdowns and generate practical engineering solutions
Lead and manage electrical and continuous improvement projects
Liaise with all stakeholders on site when scheduling engineering activities

Person Specification
The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will have the following skills and experience

Recognised electrical qualification, fouryear apprenticeship or NVQ L3 in engineering
Proven experience working within a dedicated maintenance role in a highvolume manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PLC fault finding
Strong methodical approach to problem solving
Experience of root cause analysis on electrical and automated systems
Strong communication skills, liaising effectively with stakeholders across site
