upport Worker/Personal Assistant - Kelso : I
am a 93-year-old woman living at home in my retirement flat in Kelso. I require help to remain living independently as much as possible.

I have mobility issues partly due to Parkinsons, but I still retain a sharp mind and have a good sense of humour.

I also enjoy a good chat.

If you are a caring person with a sense of fun and like to have a good chat, then you will be ideal for this job.

The role is to support me on alternate weekends with my morning and evening routines as well as help me with meal preparation.

Terms:

H
- ours: 2.25 hours every fortnight H
- ours of work: ALTERNATE WEEKENDS, starting weekend of 16/3/24 then every second weekend thereafter: M
- ornings - 9am-10am T
- ea - 5pm-5:30pm E
- vening pm £
per hour. P
- aid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata P
- robationary period of 3 months

There is some flexibility with the above times. Personal assistants with availability on any/all these days are encouraged to apply. Applicants would ideally be expected to work every second weekend.

- o support client to ensure their safety and well-being. T
- o support with personal care needs including washing and dressing. T
- o support with general care needs including meal preparation. T
- o maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client's equipment and surroundings. T
- o develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.
