What does this Activities Co-ordinator job involve?

Developing and overseeing an active living programme for each person we support which supports mobility, social contact, independence and fun.
Collaborating with the senior care staff and care coordinators to make an assessment of the strengths and capabilities of each person.
Ensuring that appropriate risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event.
Devising simple and safe activities which encourage movement and maintain joint flexibility and functional use of hands and fingers in activities.

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly.

Previous experience developing engaging and creative activity plans
Ideally, previous experience working in an adult care setting domiciliary or residential care.
Able to drive with full, clean UK driving license (company car can be provided if necessary)
