Description
We are seeking an experienced Exams Officer to join our college based in Wakefield. As the Exams Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the college's exams process.

You will work closely with academic and administrative staff to ensure that all exams are organised, administered and processed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.


Key responsibilities:

  • Organising and administering all exams, ensuring they are conducted in a secure and fair manner
  • Coordinating with teaching staff to ensure accurate exam entries and liaising with awarding bodies as necessary
  • Managing the allocation and preparation of exam venues, invigilators and equipment
  • Ensuring that all exam scripts and results are securely stored and processed in accordance with regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records of all examrelated activities and producing reports as required
  • Providing support and guidance to students regarding exam procedures and regulations
  • Keeping up to date with changes to exam regulations and policies and ensuring that these are communicated to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years' experience working as an Exams Officer, ideally within a further education setting
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of relevant IT systems and software
  • Knowledge of relevant exam regulations and policies
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work with a commitment to providing highquality services

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
