The role
- **HR Strategy*
  • Work with CPO direct reports to inform, design and deliver on a people strategy that is commercially sound and flexible.

Partnering
duties
  • With senior stakeholders, MDs of business unites and support functions. Attend structural reviews and advise on OD points and workforce planning. Coach and guide managers on complex matters such as change management projects, redundancies, employment reviews, disciplinaries and grievances.

Lead the Partnering team
  • Lead and manage a team of six People Partners in developing and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders across their areas of responsibility. Conduct regular one to ones and annual performance reviews. Lead of People Team meetings. Setting and reviewing objectives in line with business plans. Review grading for roles in the team and work with Director of Reward on output. Ensure training on GDPR/DPA, employment legislation/procedures and internal process including those combined with Ops and Payroll are regularly provided and learning embedded. Manage Xmas cover across the team.

People team (General)
  • Present at quarterly team meetings on key updates/projects and facilitate group session son topics of our choice. Work closely with People Services Manager to ensure processes are efficient and followed.

Employee relations
  • TCs alignment projects (Insurance, RVS IE), large scale change projects (rebranding projects, US entity creation and payroll transfer), advise and conduct redundancy consultations/settlements with senior colleagues, conduct exit interviews for regretted/senior leavers and report back findings to CPO.

Early conciliation, employment claims and tribunals
  • Monitor number and types of potential and live cases to the UK, Irish and RoW businesses, inform Board and Executive as appropriate, liaise with our solicitors, liaise with ACAS, liaise with external solicitors, agree terms for exit with Board/Exec before executing.

Employee engagement
  • Annual employee engagement survey and pulse surveys, action planning through BPs, reporting findings to Exec and designing action plans with them.

Key projects
  • Performance review, succession planning, people management training through LMS.

HR Fundamentals training
  • Work with team to design develop and issue out people management training on the LMS and other mediums to ensure consistent best practice across the business.

Policies, reports and audits
  • RSM (Finance), ISO 27001, internal audits on processes and quality, Fair Employment and Treatment (NI) monitoring, work with People Services team to review and update policies/procedures.

Other

  • Attend quarterly health and safety meetings, business continuity planning, risk register reviews.

What do we expect of you?

  • Experienced in manging a 5+ HR team, being teams with both established People Partners and those up and coming.
  • Point of contact for ER queries and getting to grips quickly with the commercial side of the business to advise accordingly
  • A minimum CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent is essential.
  • A robust resultsdriven approach, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in managing HR metrics, with a thorough understanding of HR systems and databases
  • Strong understanding of HR polices, compliance and best practices
  • Prior experience working at fastpaced growth business
  • Stakeholder management (different levels Manager to Head's Of to Director or MD) demonstrably able to communicate in both written and verbal form flexibility to suit the communication needs of those stakeholders.
Ideally experience in both transactional and strategic - engagement survey, change projects in business units
