Department


The Student Fees and Funding team aims to provide an excellent service to some of the University's 25,000 students, through the provision of funding opportunities and management of fees data.

Funding opportunities include scholarship, bursary and loan programmes, international schemes and central financial assistance


The Projects and Engagement Officer is responsible for handling individual areas of policy, process and operational projects, shaping service delivery and reporting, and maintaining an overview of the team's communications.

About the Role


This is an excellent opportunity to take up a key role supporting student fees and funding activity across the collegiate University.

You will work across the subteams within Student Fees and Funding (SFF) team with responsibiity for specific projects, as well as supporting continuous improvement.


The individual will maintain an overview of communication needs and approaches across SFF, ensuring a good understanding of the operational functions and timeline of activity to contribute to the internal and external communications networks and support the implementation of the new Content Management Systems.


You will work with the SFF team and the collegiate university to enhance the quality, utility, timeliness and presentation of management information and data analysis relating to Oxford's student fees and funding.

You will monitor and evaluate external policy, statutory, regulatory and other developments relating to student fees and funding, making recommendations to the collegiate University on developments required.

This post is available on a fixed term basis until 31 May 2025.


About You
An analytical and problem-solving approach is key, with a keen eye for detail and drive for continuous improvement. You will posses excellent communication skills for close liaison with students, colleagues and external contacts at all levels.
