An exciting opportunity has arisen to support a 30-year-old lady living in the Lincoln area, who has an acquired brain injury and cerebral palsy.


We are looking for a compassionate and experienced support worker to join our team and provide care for an individual with a complex brain injury.

This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for our client.


About our client:

Our client is a lovely young lady who is interested in crafts, TV, film and food. She loves getting out and about to coffee shops to have a good natter.

She also loves her home comforts and enjoys collecting eggs from her chickens or baking something delicious in her kitchen.

Our client has an acquired brain injury resulting in varying complex support needs. She is a wheelchair user and requires support for most daily living activities.


About the role:

We are looking for a professional, calm, and reliable individual to join our client's team of support workers.

You must be flexible to work a variety of different shifts, and you must be comfortable working 1-1 and as a team.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administering medication and monitoring health
  • Supporting community access and leisure activities
  • Supporting and encouraging participation in daily activities and hobbies
  • Assisting with mobility and positioning
  • Providing cognitive emotional support and companionship
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment, including the domestic duties our client is unable to complete.
  • Collaborating with treating professionals and family members to provide the best possible support and care.
We are able to offer various contracts starting from 8 hours up to 24 hours. You must be flexible to work a combination of days and/or evenings, Monday to Friday. There may be occasional sleeping nights, and weekends.

Rates of pay:
£15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.


Essential requirements:


  • Experience working with adults with brain injuries or other complex neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of fundamental care techniques and procedures
  • Must have a full clean UK driver's license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and client needs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for our client's privacy
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
