Our client are one of the UKs leading international aid agencies and they are looking to recruit for a temporary Supporter Care Assistant to join their small but cohesive team acting as first point of contact to their loyal supporters.


Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service to create a positive impression ofthe charity.

  • Handle routine complaints/ feedback from supporters
  • Process resource orders and handle event enquiries
  • Take telephone credit card donations and set up Direct Debits ensuring security requirements are fully observed
  • Update and maintain supporter information onto our databases
  • Meet our service commitments to supporters
  • Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR and Gift Aid legislation

Reception duties

  • Welcome visitors and staff at Reception and handle switchboard callers whilst providing excellent customer service in a courteous, professional and informed way
  • Responsible for mail collections, deliveries and courier's services
  • Book taxis/ other transport needs as required
  • Make public address announcements clearly as and when required
  • Responsible for front of house security and safety ensuring all access requirements are adhered to
  • Maintain a wellpresented front of house area and as this is a customer facing role, staff should dress appropriately
  • Undertake all related Reception tasks
Job-specific competencies
I. Previous customer service experience
II. Experienced user of CRM databases
III. Experience of handling and resolving feedback

This role is 100% office based and doesn't offer hybrid working.
