Description
The role of Transport Operations Planner in Birmingham will involve:

  • Complete any contingency planning, ensuring the required resources are available.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the team and customers.
  • Liaising with other internal departments such as the Billing team.
  • Escalating any issues to the management team.

Profile

  • Good knowledge of transport planning.
  • Knowledge or previous experience of operational contingency planning.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to work in a highvolume, fastpaced environment.
  • A strong teamwork ethic to work in a lively transport office.
  • Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of European planning.
  • Worked within the Automotive sector.
