We are looking for aCQC qualified Practice Lead to work in our HMP Prisons division.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proven Nurse to help us provide high-quality dental services to vulnerable individuals within our community, focusing on improving outcomes and enhancing the overall wellbeing of our patients.
The Practice
You will join our team at our expanding dental practices based in
HMP Garth and
HMP Wymott based in
Leyland, Lancashire.
The Opportunity
The Practice Lead will be responsible for overseeing the dental services provided within the prison, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of dental professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
a part-time basis - Monday to Thursday (30 hours/week).
Responsibilities include the following:
Patient:
Create a great patient experience and increase patient satisfaction.
People:
Create a great working environment in your practice, develop your staff and support us in reducing attrition.
HR process:
Ensure HR processes are adhered to and mandatory meetings take place in a timely manner.
Associates:
Remove barriers that impact our Associates' experience and their ability to deliver effectively on their KPIs.
Compliance:
Stay committed to maintaining quality, safety and compliance at all level of operation.
Commercial:
Focus on improving our cost to serve and profitability through improved operational efficiency and engaging with our Marketing team.
Workforce Management:
Engage in proactive forecasting so that monthly planned clinical hours are delivered without relying on locum staff.
Requirements and skills include being able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to lead a team and support the clinical staff independently
- Motivate and drive performance leading by example
- Be a selfstarter and come up with new innovative ideas
- Make business decisions to generate income and meet budgets by reviewing current KPIs
- Lead a dental team with set objectives and training strategically
- Manage social media postings and promotions
- Organise marketing to recruit new patients for our specialist and general dentists following the practice needs
- Ensure adequate treatment coordination in the practice to ensure our patients receive firstclass customer service and aftercare
A dental nursing qualification is essential, with a proven track record of selling and a good knowledge of advanced dental treatments.
