This opportunity will suit a highly organised, motivated, and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience of delivering plans for use in a crisis, and providing tactical advice to commanders before, during and after major and/or critical incidents.

Working within a Team you must be highly organised and confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with an attention to detail and high levels of concentration.


You must be able to undertake the physical duties of the role which will include occasional evening, overnight, and weekend work outside at various partner sites, along with physical activities such as walking long distances, ascending ladders, work in tunnels, steps, trains, vehicles, and marine vessels.

It is a public facing role that requires the ability to work alone or as a team, flexibility to absorb some short notice duty changes to support senior commanders in managing live incidents is essential.

Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with partners, particularly when they may have different aims to yours.

Evidence of being emotionally aware of others and the impact you have on them. Demonstrate how you know this to be true.

Demonstrate your ability to take ownership of problems, in particular those involving threat, harm and risk.

Evidence when you have taken on unpopular work in order to deliver a difficult project. How do you inspire others to follow your example?

Successful applicants for this role will be defined as an; Static Worker - Works solely from one office within an office-based team.

Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.
