Description

Lilleybrook Care Home provides care for people with Dementia and nursing needs.

The home is looking for a Part time Cook to join the team.

Shifts are 7am - 5pm and would include working every other weekend on a rota system.

Overtime rate

Bank Holiday rates

Uniforms and training provided.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

Required:
Team player

Satisfactory DBS enhanced check and references

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Good communication skills

Ability to work on own initiative.

Desired:
Catering qualifications

Previous management or supervisory experienced

Experience of food preparation for older people

Main responsibilities

Food preparation

Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, as and when required.

Provided for special dietary requirements where necessary and take into account the preferences of individual Service Users.

£12.30 per hour
