Page Personnel are seeking a Bookkeeper to join a well-established Retail business based in Cheetham Hill. Ideally looking for someone with SAGE experience. This role will be full time office based.

Description

Duties:


  • Purchase ledger
  • Processing suppliers and expense invoices / matching & batching / checking extensions / entering / filing. Paying suppliers invoices.
  • Raising debit notes where necessary.
  • Payment runs every two / four weekly / Bacs / online / cheques.
  • Credit card payments.
  • Commission's payment for salesmen.
  • Cash book entries daily and monthly balances.
  • Nominal ledger work.
  • VAT, Intrastat and EU sales returns.
  • Bank reconciliations / statements daily.
  • Multi currency accounts to balance.
  • Petty cash balance to be kept up to date.
  • Processing personnel expense claims and travel advances.
  • Salesman commission payments.
  • Prepare accounts monthly up to trail balances and final accounts.
  • Monthly payroll coordination with outside bureau.
  • Sales ledger entries daily.
  • Statements to send customers.
  • Credit Control
  • Fortnightly and Month end sales figures for MD.
  • Keeping all ledgers / accounts / filing up to date.

Profile

  • Experience within a similar role
  • SAGE experience
  • Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude and used to working inclusively
