Brief job description:


Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an L4 Network Systems consultant Apprentice with Sharp-ax Computer Systems, a computer systems and business development company based in Berkhamsted.


Apprentice to the Network Systems Consultant and support team with responsibility for basic IT support troubleshooting hardware and software failures remotely and on site, alongside installation and configuration of hardware for internal use and external sale.

Learning to provide network/system setup and maintenance while working with the hardware engineers. Role will involve communicating effectively with customers & suppliers on a daily basis, logging issues through our ticket system.


Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Call logging.
  • Basic investigation and resolution.
  • Installing and configuration of PC's.
  • Office 365 Admin.
  • Assisting hardware engineer.
  • Basic IT support.

Qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs grades A*C/94 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:


  • Basic computer skills.
  • IT literacy.
  • Fundamentals of Networking.

Personal qualities:


  • Organised.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Reliable.
  • Flexible.
  • Enthusiastic.

  • Acquire and analyse network performance data to monitor network activity.
