About the Role


You will copywrite job advertisements for Edge Hill University vacancies, seeking to promote the variety of rewarding opportunities and roles offered across the University.

A point of contact, expertise, and escalation for recruiting managers, you will guide, and problem solve advertising, recruitment, pre-employment, and general resourcing enquiries in line with guidance, policies and legislation.


About You

As Staff Recruitment Adviser, you will:

  • have proven experience in staff recruitment, or a HR or Shared Services role
- demonstrate understanding of employment, right to work and UKVI legislation and best practice in relation to recruitment and selection
- have experience of maintaining accurate records to support monitoring of work levels and/or compliance with legislation
- have excellent verbal, written and in-person communication with the ability to produce high quality documentation and engage, persuade, and consult stakeholders.
- be able to work using your own initiative to problem solve enquiries, referring to procedures, published guidance and regulations
- have effective organisation and prioritisation and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines in a busy office environment
