Would you like to work in a highly motivated and friendly Maternity digital team covering Bath, North East Somerset and West Wiltshire? This is an exciting opportunity to join our digital maternity team where you will work as part of a dynamic team, in a administrative and quality role.

Rated 'Outstanding' in our latest CQC review, our service consists of an acute and 2 standalone birth centres.

We also have 2 community midwifery led hubs, a 24 hour Maternity Assessment Unit and are in the planning stages of an alongside midwifery unit at the RUH site.

This is your chance to be part of a transforming organisation and we look forward to working with you to develop this service to a high standard.

To regularly download reports relating to key birth outcomes, analysing data and drawing pertinent conclusions into infographics, charts and tables for senior presentations;
To complete data validation tasks, working unsupervised.

To manually input data from paper notes or from elsewhere where there is missing data;
To identify areas where data quality is poor and understand the processes for gathering this data

To advise the senior leadership team and the Digital Lead Midwife of any data issues and propose methods to improve data quality, including designing formats for information capture and identifying ways in which data can be used to provide insights or research;

To motivate staff to the correct use of clinical systems to prevent data quality issues arising; this includes identifying training needs.

Develop training and communication tools to drive up data quality

To assist with other data quality and validation issues facing the department, as required;
To assist in the training of new members of staff in the department, as required;
To work flexibly according to the needs of the service;
