Lockheed Martin have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Engineer to join the the LEAPP Support domain, (Land Environment Air Picture Provision) providing Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) to Customer change activities and the associated Task AuthorisationForms (TAFs).

Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers.

It consists of business areas focusing on Platform Integration, Ground Based Air Defence, Special Projectsand Weapons, which provide a variety of products and services to the Ministry of Defence and other customers.


Based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, the Logistics Engineer supports the LEAPP Support Team with Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), including Reliability, Maintainability and Testability (RM&T).

Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooksfor technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.


Required skills, qualifications and experience
Logistics Engineering experience.

ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) experience.

Engineering/Supply/Contract Support knowledge and experience.

Robust communications, both verbal and written.

Customer interfacing.

Military supply network knowledge/usage.

UK National Codification Bureau/NSN Background.

Incident Management handler/manager experience.

Military Systems, Build and Management knowledge.

JAMES.

AESPs.

An understanding of Defense standards.
