As an
Agile Development Leadyou'll play a vital role in
developing large-scale IT systems with specific experience of developing high performance processing platforms which process 1000's of transactions per second.

About the role:
Working from home (1 day per month required on site in London) you will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Jointly with the Agile Development Team, effect and monitor the development of people, processes and tools which will continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team
- Monitor and ensure that the appropriate level of documentation is produced during the development and maintenance phase and that the documentation is up to date and regularly deposited in departmental repositories
- Ensure training plans are developed and available for the development team to ensure a smooth adoption of new technologies
- Responsible for the resourcing, capability and development of the Agile Development Team
About you:
- Ability to take project requirements and functional designs and interpret them intelligently to produce technical designs and working software solutions
- At least one of the following four general or specialist skills:
- Expert in recent version of at least one development language such as C#, Java, Javascript, SQL, and Power Shell
- Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools
- Expert in industry standard content management tools and practices
- Experience with Azure Data Services and highvolume transactional systems.
- Extensive experience in largescale IT systems with specific experience of developing high performance processing platforms which process 1000's of transactions per second
- An active practitioner of agile development methodologies
- An experienced developer in object oriented programming languages such as C# and associated toolsets
- Experience of optimising processes to produce high quality and frequent production releases of software
- A comprehensive understanding of the development of distributed, highly scalable solutions in revenue, online, or corporate portfolios
- Experience of managing one or more agile software development teams
- Experience of JMeter or Specflow are desired, but not essential.
