One of Europe's leading contractors is looking to appoint a SHEQ Coordinator at their head office in Dartford.

This specialist firm take on the decommissioning, deconstruction and remediation of large industrial facilities across the UK and Europe - power stations, chemical plants, industrial facilities etc.

This role is based full-time at the head office, so would potentially suit an individual who lives relatively local to Dartford.

It's also a bit different to a standard Health & Safety role in that it's more of a support function to both the Group SHEQ Director and the numerous project based advisors up and down the country.

It will be admin/paperwork heavy and you'll be tasked with the preparation of various plans - Site Waste, Traffic Management, environmental plans etc.

These plans will enable works to commence on the various projects.

You'll be liaising and supporting all of the project SHEQ advisors with any additional requirements they need as well as working closely with the directors on accreditations, company procedures and various membership renewals.

An important and varied role to ultimately ensure Health & Safety lies at the forefront on all of their projects.

In an ideal world you'll have a good, solid background in health & safety, preferably with a civil engineering contractor.

Naturally you'll also need to have current NEBOSH qualifications, ideally to diploma level.

Salary in the region of £40k to £50k + benefits.
