A new opportunity has been created at Alloy Bodies Limited for a Driver/Shunter to become part of their team.

How You'll Play Your Part

Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently co-ordinate and facilitate the collection and delivery of vehicles, with our external & Internal customers.

To Marshall and Organise all vehicles in the depot vehicle park
Facilitate vehicle movements on site in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure Health and safety rules are adhered to for all vehicle movements
Ensure vehicles are parked in the appropriate area, and key number recorded correctly
Carry out basic Valet to customers vehicles as required and instructed.
To digitally record in/out notes of vehicle collection and deliveries reporting digitally and verbally and cause for concern.
Keep general appearance of yard tidy and orderly.
Carry out regular security checks on perimeter fence and vehicles.
Challenge unidentified people on site offering help and guidance.
To check in/out vehicles in recording any vehicle damage immediately
To keep the company vehicles in a clean and presentable condition.

About you

You will ideally have experience with all types of vehicles working in a similar role within the automotive/manufacturing environment, ideally as a Driver/Shunter.

You will have excellent communication skills and should be able to develop and maintain good working relationships. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

You will be working in a busy fast-moving environment and will be in a role that is critical to the efficient running of the business.

A minimum of a class 2 Licence is required.

On Offer

A 40-hour week - Your weekly hours will be between the times of 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday - With an hourly rate ranging from £11- £12.70 per hour depending on your licensing.

Overtime is paid at 1.5.

Place of work would be Alloy Bodies, Miles Platting M40 8HN.
