The Role:


This is a crucial time for the talent team at Oxfam, as we enable the organisation in its stated goal to become a safe, feminist and anti-racist organisation.

We know that this involves deep work of organisational change and transformation, and this role is a central part of achieving that.


The role supports organisation effectiveness by leading the development and implementation of strategic Talent and Resourcing (T&R) programmes and initiatives, with an approach aligned to our culture change, Equalities and transformation agenda, and which embeds Oxfam's values and our Feminist Leadership and anti-racist approach in how we work, in the UK and globally.


What we are looking for:

This role will require you to bring the following:

  • A track record of developing forward thinking Talent and strategic Resourcing strategies and activities to support organisational change and drive performance
  • Experience of developing and implementing career path frameworks and an understanding of Reward principles
  • Experience of developing talent pipelines to address current and future skills and behavioural needs, including increasing diversity in workforces
  • Experience of leading strategic workforce planning and succession planning
  • Demonstrable experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces
  • Significant experience of strategic business partnering gained within a large complex organisation and with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrable 'ability to develop strategies and business plans, which deliver outcomes linked to wider business strategies and organisational change
  • Analytical skills, including using data to measure outcomes and inform decision making, and being able to weigh up and take decisions when there are unknowns
  • A role model for wellbeing and resilience
