If you'd love the opportunity to get involved with editing promotional artwork and developing onsite signage, to engage customers and to help increase awareness of conservation issues whilst enhancing secondary spend, this could be the job for you.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Have an indepth knowledge of InDesign and other creative cloud software, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- To be proficient in retouching and colour work and have a good background in repro, print management and overall print production
- Be used to maintaining a good file structure and housekeeping of work
- Designing onbrand creative solutions for a variety of uses, collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful and align with our technical and brand standards
- Taking ideas from concept to execution to deliver an effective user experience
- Tweaking outsourced design work & images to meet our requirements, whether for use onsite or with any advertising material
- Willing to learn and assist in animation and video editing skills/software
- When outsourcing projects, provide research, quotes & recommendations to the Marketing Manager
- Understanding the principles of print production to effectively order print and signage from our partners and effectively manage relationships
Job Requirements (Essential)
- Must have an interest in the PWP's mission and excitement for the brand, being naturally passionate about zoos and conservation
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Confident user of MS Software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop and produce highquality, accurate and engaging presentations in PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to build strong working relationships
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle potential issues as they arise
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines, thriving on change in a fastpaced environment
- A team player
- Must have a full driving license and access to own vehicle (as PWP is not accessible by public transport)
- Must already be eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa
Working Conditions
- Permanent; Full-Time position; 40 Hours per week, worked days a week onsite at our family run zoo in Hertfordshire, with some with occasional early/late/flexible working to accommodate deadlines or special events
- Salary dependent on skills and experience
