This position is for an experienced Payroll Officer/Assistant to cover a maternity contract, you will need to be available ASAP and cover the role for up to 12 months.

30 hour week, hybrid once you have completed 4-6 weeks training. Flexibility on hoursand days but no less than 30 hours.

This is a great job with a caring organisation, who will provide great training, we need someone who is able to run end to end Payroll, and work in a small team processing around 500 staff on monthly payroll.

The position is hybrid after training with up to 3/4 days from home per week.

What you'll need to succeed You will need to be someone confident running payroll, updating changes in a timely manner, processing starters and leavers, checking timesheets for casuals, answering any queries from staff, calculating sickness, keeping payrollrecords up to date, producing electronic and paper payslips, liaising with HMRC, good knowledge of RTI and current payroll legislation.

The system they use is iTrent, but it is only a desirable if you have this experience and Payroll sits within the HR team.
