Description

Scaling UK environmental business is looking for a high calibre Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.

The employer offers fully remote work (although office locations available across the UK for those more sociable souls) and 1-2 days per month might be usefulto build relationships with key Finance stakeholders.

About You:

They are looking for an experienced hire who can:

Be the "go-to" person within the business for all queries surrounding the delivery and ongoing adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
Provide 3rd line support for the existing implementation, ensuring that all users receive resolutions within a timely and efficient manner.
Undertake a review of existing finance processes and facilitate improvements which can be adopted using D36
Keep up to date with new features and updates that come through from Microsoft and communicate to the business.
Work closely with the engineering team to deliver highquality enhancements.
Ensure there is a clear backlog of work ready to be prioritised into sprints: review incoming "software change requests" from users and triage, clarify, validate.
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, etc.).
Be part of the endtoend discovery phase for new initiatives, working closely with the Product team, including the implementation of modules not currently being used in the existing implementation.

About you:

3+ years' experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Dynamics AX 2012, including configuration. This could either be as a Functional Consultant or Systems Accountant / Finance Systems Admin or Super User.
Able to gather and express Finance user requirements in a clear, structured fashion to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Some accountancy qualifications or prior finance experience would be desirable (AAT / CIMA / ACCA).
Additionally, experience of the Project Management and Accounting module would be highly desirable.
Experience supporting end users with problems.
