The job itself:

8 year old happy, smiley little boy, looking for a worker who will help me to attend activities independently of my parents.

I was born very prematurely, and I need a lot of help from adults. I can't see, walk or stand independently. I also need help with personal care.

My parents are looking for someone who can commit to 12 hours per week in school holidays.

I can't communicate verbally, so I show my happiness through giggles and smiles. When I'm upset, I will let you know about it by pushing away anything I don't like. Although I don't use words to communicate, I can say "No".

I am not a great eater, but I love pizza.

I enjoy singing, playing with sensory toys, and swimming. I like car journeys, trips to parks, and sensory rooms.

I don't like messy play. I sometimes don't like too much noise, but not always. I find it difficult when other people suddenly invade my personal space. Sometimes I find it hard to accept it when fun activities come to an end.
