About Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist**:
We seek to incorporate a Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist to join our growing team. You will be self-motivated and results-oriented with a clear focus on the delivery of demanding project objectives.

You will work as part of a team of scientists involved in PR&D projects related to Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and data analytics solutions for API pharmaceutical processes.

Your Impact as Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist:

Implementation and use of PAT tools, including techniques such as coupled PVM-chord length distribution and mid-infrared spectroscopy
Recommendation of new tools and approaches in line with CatSci strategic ambitions followed by developing and optimising these new PAT methods
Demonstration of value from the deployment of PAT/data analytics/chemometric models deployed in an early pharmaceutical development manufacturing environment
Translating chemometric models using relevant software platforms or by writing custom programs
Project management (planning, tracking & controlling, reporting)
Driving automation and digitalisation processes

Requirements for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist**:

Proficiency in spectral data analysis, such as crafting and deploying qualitative and quantitative chemometric models
Experience in using PAT to solve problems in reaction monitoring and crystallisation in a pharmaceutical industry setting
Strong theoretical and practical background in analytical science, particularly spectroscopy and/or chemical data analytics (chemometrics and machine learning). Familiarity with mainstream chemometric techniques is essential. The ability to code in a mainstream language will be advantageous
Experience and passion for operating in multidisciplinary project teams
