About Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist**:
We seek to incorporate a Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist to join our growing team. You will be self-motivated and results-oriented with a clear focus on the delivery of demanding project objectives.
You will work as part of a team of scientists involved in PR&D projects related to Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and data analytics solutions for API pharmaceutical processes.

Your Impact as Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist:
- Implementation and use of PAT tools, including techniques such as coupled PVM-chord length distribution and mid-infrared spectroscopy
- Recommendation of new tools and approaches in line with CatSci strategic ambitions followed by developing and optimising these new PAT methods
- Demonstration of value from the deployment of PAT/data analytics/chemometric models deployed in an early pharmaceutical development manufacturing environment
- Translating chemometric models using relevant software platforms or by writing custom programs
- Project management (planning, tracking & controlling, reporting)
- Driving automation and digitalisation processes
Requirements for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Specialist**:
- Proficiency in spectral data analysis, such as crafting and deploying qualitative and quantitative chemometric models
- Experience in using PAT to solve problems in reaction monitoring and crystallisation in a pharmaceutical industry setting
- Strong theoretical and practical background in analytical science, particularly spectroscopy and/or chemical data analytics (chemometrics and machine learning). Familiarity with mainstream chemometric techniques is essential. The ability to code in a mainstream language will be advantageous
- Experience and passion for operating in multidisciplinary project teams
