Description
A fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturing organisation based in Andover, Hampshire.The role is on a part time basis as their Senior Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of bookkeeping tasks and reportingdirectly to the Finance Director.
What will the Bookkeeper role involve?
- Looking after purchase ledger including processing payment runs and obtaining payment authorisations;
- Looking after sales ledger including uploading sales;
- Credit control;
- Monthly aged payables and debtors report;
- Being a point of contact for operations team;
- Bank postings and bank reconciliations;
- Accruals and prepayments;
- Raising commission credit notes;
- Processing and paying staff expenses.
- Experience with a broad level of accounting;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting terms and concepts and understanding of finance regulations and legislation;
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
- Strong Excel skills.
