We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Health and Saftey team within our Security sector.

You will provide professional health and safety support, taking an active and visible role within the health and safety team via site attendance, site safety meetings and other opportunities as and when they arise.

You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues and support your sector Health and Safety Manager.

You will be at the forefront of promoting the company's accident and incident reduction programme, communicate the importance of safety reporting at all site locations through our smart health and safety reporting platform, you will conduct site health and safety Inspections and audits in accordance with the planned schedule and provide support where required to achieve a timely resolution of any findings.

What we can offer you:

- £35,000 per annum

Permanent, full time position, working 40 hours per week, inclusive of a paid lunch break with flexible working hours options available

Essential Skills

NEBOSH General Certificate health and safety
Professional membership of IOSH (desirable)
Full UK driving license
Demonstrate Health and Safety experience (security based experience desirable)
Good communicator
Deliver excellent customer service

Good IT Skills

Word & Excel
Demonstrate ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
Ability to deliver clear and concise written reports (accident and incident) where necessary
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
Work well as part of a team
Able to deal calmly and confidently with pressurised situations.
Knowledge of working as an Airport Services provider or knowledge of supporting people with additional needs is desirable.
