Head of Transformation Strategy & Design


One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Head of Transformation Strategy&Design to join them on 6 month initial contract role.

Location - Hybrid/Berkshire or Warwickshire

Rate - £800 - £1000 pd - inside IR35


Key accountabilities:


  • Translating longterm strategy and 'network vision for the future' into defined target end state business operating model
  • Working with executive team to set out appropriate measures, targets and KPIs
  • Work across leadership teams to ensure target state is translated into a clear, compelling, and actionable transformation plan.
  • Supporting in the definition and prioritisation of the initiatives, programmes, and capability 'shifts'
  • In partnership with business teams, Group strategy (where needed) and Transformation Office teams, ensure that the operating model is clearly defined and maintained with dedicated business owners.
  • Set out the strategic narrative for change
- the why, what and how. Work together with Executive, Project connect and Communications team to implement wide change management plan & communications

  • Support business in the design / redesign of future ready processes
- ensuring these are both effective and efficient

  • Ensure that programme has a longterm view of its talent and capability needs and that the business has a robust process in place to turn these insights into effective deployment strategies and strategic workforce plan.
**Experience and skills: - Experience in business strategy

  • Selfstarter
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly structure and manage complex projects/programmes across wide range of stakeholders and extended teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working closely with business executives and senior leaders with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience in business transformation / change (including developing portfolio / transformation roadmaps, defining KPIs / benefits cases), change management and complex programme management.
  • Effective people management skills with the ability to influence and manage individuals across multiple teams to work together
  • Strong role model
