In September 2016 health and care partners (WSFT, Suffolk County Council, Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust and Suffolk GP Federation) formed the West Suffolk Alliance and committed to work together to improve the health and care system in West Suffolk for all people whether they be a child, part of a family or a single adult.

The focus of the Alliance is on people and places based around geographical localities.


The Alliance aims to shift from working as individual organisations towards being a fully integrated single system, with a shared vision, clear local priorities, able to both provide an improved service for people in West Suffolk and to tackle the sustainability issues faced by the system together.


The main purpose of this role is to lead the operational teams across health to deliver high quality care, supporting the Alliance Delivery Leads to operationalise the integrated health and social care delivery plan.

The role supports and drives forward new models of care that places the person at the centre of their care.


The postholder will work seamlessly with the Ops and Partnership role in social care to operationally lead teams across health and social care ensuring the teams have strong and consistent leadership.


The role supports the Alliance Delivery Lead and works with the Director of Adult Integrated Care, leaders, key stakeholders across the health & social care system to deliver Alliance ambitions.
