Description

Firetrace Ductwork Ltd is the only UK licence holder of supply only non-coated fire rated ductwork, which is manufactured to the CASWELL FIRESAFE specification. The system was developed and tested in the early 2000's in accordance with BS476 Part In recent years, further development and testing has been carried out in accordance with EN1366 Part to meet European legalisation including CE marking. The product is tested to BS and EN for up to 4 hours stability and integrity and up to 4 hours insulation (fire outside duct) and 2 hours insulation (fire inside duct).

Ductwork Compliance Coordinator to join our successful, fast-paced team.

We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who have proven ductwork knowledge and experience. The position would suit an ex-ductwork installer with around 10 years or more experience.

The position is working Monday to Friday, based around a 40 hour week, working within site operating hours and will be paid according to your experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Learning, understanding and implementing the CASWELL Firesafe non coated fire rated Ductwork system to both BS476 & EN1366 specifications.
  • Effectively induct, monitor and report on our clients' installations, so they are compliant and installed to the relevant Caswell Firesafe BS or EN system.
  • The role will involve inspecting and certifying the installation of what is a lifesaving product, anywhere in the UK, but predominantly in and around London.
  • Maintain appropriate systems for the necessary aspects of operational management and development e.g. Project Database
  • Adhering to Health & Safety Regulations.

Requirements:


  • Driving licence _(essential)_
  • Hold a current CSCS Card Blue _(essential)_
  • NVQ Level 2 or SCQF Level 5 in Heating & Ventilation Ductwork Installation _(essential)_
  • Basic IT skills _(essential)_
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality
  • Ability to read ductwork drawings
  • To have effective and efficient time management skills
  • Ability to measure areas of work requiring nonstandard supports
  • Ability to work to customer requirements
  • Customer service skills
  • Be a team worker with good interpersonal skills.
  • Good numeracy skills
