An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with excellent attention to detail to join Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust's dynamic, fast-paced Workforce Deployment Team.


The Senior Workforce Deployment Officer role requires a driven and highly adaptable person with the ability to move between responsibilities dependant on service need.


The post holder will, under the supervision of the Workforce Deployment Manager, ensure that the rostering system & ESR interfaces match correctly and that the monthly uploads for payroll are working and completed in line with payroll deadlines.

Carry out data quality assurance investigating discrepancies between the e-Rostering system and ESR and correct accordingly.


Be the visible and accessible point of contact for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of e-Rostering administration including creating effective rosters within the agreed KPI's.

Provide effective project management administration as & when required.


To support Workforce Deployment Lead in delivering Roster Check & Challenge meetings for all inpatient units, to take a detailed account of discussions and ensuring rosters are updated.


Under the supervision of the Workforce Deployment Manager provide support on the implementation as described in any project program to the designated areas within the Trust.


To work with and train roster managers and staff on the e-rostering and Temporary Staffing systems to ensure a good knowledge base in each team.

To lead on ensuring e-rostering and ESR data on new starters, leavers and contracted hours are in unison.
