Description

We currently have an opening for a Project Materials Coordinator within our busy construction team.

The Materials Co-ordinator is responsible for maintaining material movement and to check that all manifested equipment for ARCHER and client has been offloaded and checked.

To ensure that all equipment advised for backload is accurately documented on the inward manifest, weights are documented.

Key responsibilities but not Ltd to the below:

Liaise with Offshore Construction Supervisor & Onshore Construction Engineer regarding shipping Movements
Maintain and accurate record of spares withdrawn from the stores and maintaining material issue records
To raise inbound manifest for all materials requiring backload to onshore base and raise the Transport Request order requesting vessel backload space with the person responsible
Check and monitor container fleet in rotation for offload/backload space allocation with deck crew. Keep informed, Construction Supervisor and Onshore Construction Engineer.
Ensuring that storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
Compiling a concise handover for relief at crew change
