From onboarding, to support with administering benefits and pay, the Head of People Experience & Operations will lead a small team that ensures that these interactions are the best possible experiences for our colleagues.

This position will develop and implement strategies that improve service excellence, maximise our operating model and drive process improvements across the People Team and across all moments of the employee lifecycle.

This role will build a community focused on continuous improvement and provide support to the wider People team, leveraging data and insights to drive our growth and transformation.


Your day-to-day:


  • Define and develop a People Experience strategy and roadmap
  • Identify opportunities for automation and increased operational efficiency
  • Drive innovation, identify and implement best practices in terms of systems, processes and policies that deliver an enhanced experience aligned to the People strategy.
  • Develop and own planning process for new country expansions to ensure compliant and seamless entry to new geographies
  • Partner with Finance and Business IT to ensure the people services activity is streamlined and appropriate for a fast paced, scaling business.
  • Manage relevant vendor relationships, ensuring focus on service performance and cost prudence
  • Develop, implement and work to SLA's for all people related transactional activity, measuring the performance against the SLA's and using data insights and trends to further develop the service delivery offering
  • Be the champion and advocate for the employee experience by delivering an excellent people experience at every touchpoint with the people experience and operations team
  • Ensure data and insights sit at the heart of the People function by defining metrics and operational reporting in partnership with the People leadership team.
  • Evolve a unique onboarding experience that seamlessly builds belonging to loveholidays and sets new hires up for a fast start
  • Identify opportunities to build manager and employee capability to enable fast, self service solutions where appropriate
  • Own HR technology and tools, including the HRIS (Hibob)
  • Manage immigration, visa and mobility process for internal and external talent as appropriate.

Your skillset:


  • Demonstrable track record in managing an Employee Experience/People Operations function with extensive knowledge of the UK and European geographies
  • Experienced working in a fastpaced high growth environment
  • Ability to balance immediate and long term needs through strategic planning and prioritisation of work
  • Experience with developing and implementing business processes, metrics dashboards and data insights to improve employee experience and business outcomes.
  • Resultsoriented with a strong ability to execute on required deliverables and drive results.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognising needs, solving problems, anticipating issues and developing solutions
  • Demonstrates a solution and customer focused approach to overcoming any barriers to change
  • Able to adapt communication style depending on the audience and build rapport and credibility quickly with colleagues
  • Ability to influence and leverage internal relationships and external network in order to drive outcomes
  • Experience of optimising the HR tech stack and a broad understanding of HR systems and tools.
