About the role
The GEZE UK Technical Training Officer is responsible for delivering engaging training programs to its employees to raise awareness of GEZE products and to develop and increase skills in order to effectively support our customers.
The Technical Training Officer works closely with the GEZE UK Technical team in order to maintain accurate product information and contribute to and assist with technical projects and technical queries as and when required.
The role includes:
- Identifying, developing and delivering technical training programs according to GEZE UK organizational requirements for its employees and customers.
- Working with the Technical Manager, L&D and our customers to identify technical training requirements both internally and for our customers.
- Producing training schedules and classroom agenda in conjunction with our GEZE UK L&D.
- Creating course content according to required objectives. This includes the preparation of training material (presentations, worksheets, video training material etc.)
- Delivering all internal and external training sessions, monthly product webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually depending on the demand and requirements.
- Arranging and conducting onsite training with GEZE Technicians & FOS's.
- Collating, reporting and maintaining data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Evaluating results and effectiveness of training programs and making ongoing improvements where needed.
- Proven experience as a strong technical trainer with a natural ability to engage an audience through your delivery.
- Good knowledge of HSQE.
- An electronics or electrical background would be advantageous due to the technical components of our products.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK legislation compliance.
- A change agent with the ability to coach, mentor and develop all levels of staff to achieve higher levels of performance.
- Experience in designing engaging technical course content.
- Ability to address training needs through course content delivery
- Good working knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Working towards attaining training certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) would be advantageous for the business.
- Must have a valid UK driving license with flexibility to travel on occasion.
