Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant based in Hulme, Manchester or the surrounding areas with experience in teaching phonics and interventions?

I am currently recruiting for a school based in Manchester who is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge of the nursery curriculum.

The post is to start in late February 2023 and will finish in March 2023 with potential to go permanent ifyou are the right fit for the school.

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, we expect you to be an outstanding member of staff, so we expect the following:

  • Hold relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications minimum Level
  • Have experience working within a Nursery.
  • Led interventions in small groups and 12
  • Familiar with teaching phonics.
  • Be confident with the curriculum.
  • Confident with behavioural strategies.
  • Provide quality support to teachers and to pupils.
  • Be able to carry out small group work and work with individuals under the teachers planning provided.
  • Can think on your feet.
  • Hold DBS on the update service
