Description

Are you ready for the next step in your career? Would you like the opportunity to make a difference? The hard-working team at The Old Station support individuals to live their best lives at the centre, home, voluntary work or in the community.

We are recruiting an Assistant Team Leader to mentor and lead that team.

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, creating sustainable community-based support which will have a lasting impact.

We have been investing in our day services, re-inventing ourselves and we have big plans to play an even greater part in our communities.

We have high expectations and want everyone to have the chance to reach their potential.

We are passionate about being part of the community, working together to create partnerships and offer a wide range of opportunities.

Our passion is to help the people that we support to live full, meaningful and active lives, promoting wellbeing, finding pathways to work and independence.

In Market Rasen, from our new community base, you'll work with and lead our team to build on the existing service, creating even more community connections, finding exciting new opportunities which give people with learning disabilities the chance to try something new, develop skills, and make something happen in the community and the lives of other people.

We have high expectations and want everyone to have the chance to reach their potential.

The people we support want the chance to try new things and meet new people, as well as keep developing new skills, do more volunteering, get work experience and help local people.

We know that everyone has something to contribute to their community and it's our job to help them make that happen.

We're looking for a leader who has the commitment and skills to inspire and manage our team at Market Rasen.

Adapting and responding to the needs, wants, and wishes of the people we support, you'll play a key role in delivering our ambitious development plans.

A positive person with the drive and confidence to lead, a creative thinker with the skills to build positive relationships, and someone who is truly person-centred and can see potential in everyone.

Along with a competitive salary we are offering;

  • A Contributory pension
  • Comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes and cycle to work
  • Flexible working policies
  • Career progression opportunities
  • A generous annual leave entitlement plus the option to buy more
