First Line Service Desk Engineer
Based in Birmingham with WFH options
Up to £26,000 DoE + Great Benefits Package + Pension

A great opportunity to work for a growing MSP with a modern office in central Birmingham.
You and your team will be tasked with the providing support for our end user clients and escalating where the issue can't be resolved by yourself.
This includes but isn't limited to developing, configuring, maintaining, all new and existing hardware/software,communication links and shared platforms.Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential.
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manager different call priorities
- Keenness to expand knowledge both to in and out of work
To secure the role you will:
- Escalate calls to the Senior Engineers when appropriate
- Must be able to communicate clearly at a technical and end user level
- Must have excellent documentation skills
- Provide technical support to customers
- Acting as 'Fast Response' to desktop user issue preventing them from working
- Support the Service Administrator in taking telephone calls to the main support line and logging support tickets.
- Ensuring that the Service Level Agreements (SLA) are always adhered to
- Taking ownership of an issue up to the point of resolution or escalation
- Following helpdesk procedures and policies
- Remain up to date with the latest technologies and platforms
- Microsoft Windows, 7, 10, 1
- Installation & Troubleshooting skills
- Microsoft Office all recent versions including 36
- Basic Knowledge of Desktop and Server hardware troubleshooting
- Any Kaseya, VMware, Hyper V experience a bonus
