Supervising Social Worker - Caseload: 9, No Form Fs

£34,000 - £40,000 + car allowance £3,000


NonStop Care is looking for a Supervising Social Worker who can join a well established Independent Fostering Agency in the Norfolk area, on a permanent basis.


In this role, you will have a low caseload of about - 9 foster carers, all located around Norfolk, with only a few in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The supervising Social Worker will only be providing support and supervision to the foster carers. You willnot be completing any form f assessments, so you will have a less busy role.


Responsibilities:


You will have the flexibility to do most of the work from home and only go to the office in Norfolk now and then for the team meetings.


In the first 6 to 12 months, you will not be part of their role because they want you to familiarise yourself well with the service.

Duty is usually not too busy as foster carers usually call their Social Worker directly.


In this role, you will be part of a smaller IFA where you can actually make a difference and where you can progress.

The team and the Manager are very friendly and supportive also, so you will be part of a very nice working environment.

Requirements:

- you are a Qualified Social Worker
- you have experience in fostering
- you have a Social Work Degree and a driving license
