Sandiford Green Ltd are working with a leading events company - part of the top 80 event organisers and agencies in the UK & Ireland.

The role


Reporting into the Group Event Director, you will be responsible for the sales planning and delivering the commercial objectives of the event.

During the events cycle you will be collaborating across departments, primarily marketing, operations, and contentteam. As the main sales lead you will be spearheading all sales activities.

You will need to be highly motivated, tenacious, and resilient. This is a hands-on role that would suit a driven person who is able to work well under pressure.


Key responsibilities

  • Main responsibility to achieve the exhibition target through sponsorship, stand and seminar revenue
  • Define and execute a sales plan for the exhibition
  • Generate new business leads
  • Cold calling and arranging conference calls with key decision makers
  • Offer a solutionbased
- consultative sales approach to new, existing, and lapsed exhibitors

  • Proposal writing and presenting to key clients
  • Achieve daily KPI's
  • Become an industry expert within the market by keeping up with the latest trends
  • Coordinate a regular ex prom schedule
  • Effectively create and manage forecast of sales opportunities
  • Attend, canvass, and network at industry events
  • Track all relevant sales activity using the company's CRM platform
  • Floorplan management

About You

  • Hard working, confident and personable for a client facing role
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Selfmotivated with excellent organisational skills, able to think outside the box
  • Passionate about Events experience ideally in B2C and B2B event sales
Our client offers and excellent base salary with commission. Hybrid working is available.
