**Band - Healthcare Assistants for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

NHS Lothian Supplementary Staffing service is looking for reliable and committed individuals who are keen to provide care in the field of Mental Health and or Learning Disabilities.

Areas offering these services are based in community hospitals across Lothian and also The Royal Edinburgh Hospital, RHCYP CAMHS and St John's Hospital, Livingston.

Applicants need to be able to work well in a team and provide compassionate and high-quality person-centred care.

The role and you

No two days will be the same, you will assist in all aspects of person-centred care whilst maintaining comfort and dignity for those you are caring for.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 6 months experience providing care ideally in a health or social care environment.

You will have a keen interest in working with people and be dedicated to providing the best care and support for those in your care.

You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Work is allocated on an "as and when required basis" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week as this is a demand led service.
