Overview:

Duties:


  • Accept deliveries and assist with good inwards
  • Place orders to deadlines to maintain stock levels
  • Communicate with suppliers
  • Book incoming stock onto stock management systems
  • Assisting inventory control
  • Negotiate competitive prices and contracts with suppliers
  • Work closely with accounts team and provide assistance

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
