About the Sales Order Processor Role


Our Sales Order Processor will act as a liaison between the customer and all departments and provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

You should be genuinely excited about helping customers and be patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. You should be able to put yourself in our customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Our customer feedback is priceless, and problem-solving should also come naturally to you. You should be confident at troubleshooting and investigate if you do not have enough information to resolve customer queries.


The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction at all times.


Main Duties

  • Creating customer accounts and setting credit limits
  • Chasing and resolving overdue accounts
  • Processing customers' orders onto our inhouse systems efficiently and accurately
  • Making outgoing calls to customers and liaising with different departments to resolve any issues or for clarification of information relating to their account or order.
  • Carrying out customer service follow up calls.
  • Ensuring that the company database is updated with customer information,
  • Assisting other team members with orders as and when required, also helping out with other departments to ensure the successful completion of customer sales orders.
  • Handling returns for customers that want to return goods to us estimating handling charges.
  • Processing customer payments.
  • As well as these core job functions you will also need to get stuck in and assist where necessary to provide a great service to our customers
In addition, you will be required to perform other duties as required.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Order Processor
  • Excellent ability to use a computerised system
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on your own without supervision

£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
