Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant looking an exciting new position in Oldbury?

We are currently looking for an Early Years teaching assistant that can support teachers by helping to supervise activities in the classroom, working with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis.

There will be some days where you will beworking 1-1 with children who need the extra support.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing
  • Providing support with Phonics and being confident to support them workers.
  • Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
helping to develop programs of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials motivating and encouraging pupils

  • Assisting with marking and correcting work attending meetings and reviews helping with school events, trips and activities
What you will need to have to be considered for the role?

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification or Equivalent
  • Previous experience working in Early Years classroom
  • DBS on the online update service
  • Details of 2 referees we can approach in the last 2 years
