Proactive Personnel is recruiting for a Sheet Metal Fabricator - MIG welder for our client based in Derby.

Job Role:

Be an integral member in a fast-paced Heavy Fabrication department, making high quality steel structures to suit our signage, working to our manufacturing drawings.

Daily you are expected to, individually perform, and have a high level of performance within the team, to carry out the following duties without compromise and to the best of your ability, being accountable for each aspect of your job.

To accept products and inspect for quality prior to any further processing, highlighting any defects to the Team Leader
Experience in welding techniques including MIG on various materials
Coded Welder
Overhead Crane Licence
Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
Maintain a high level of quality
Be time conscious on jobs pushing yourself to meet timings
Qualification in sheet metal/fabrication
To follow all Health and Safety guidelines and rules, ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times and replaced when necessary
Follow company policy and procedures within your department, reporting any nonconformance to management.
Attend any training and develop relevant knowledge and skills

Pay:

£ £15.00 per hour

Bonus scheme and Life insurance offered as benefits.
