Azure SQL DBA

London/Cheltenham

Hybrid working - 2 days from home.

Salary up to £55,000 - dependant on experience


We are working with a global insurance brand who are in need of an Azure SQL DBA to come and join their team.


This role can be based at either their London or Cheltenham offices, but you will need to be able to get to either if needed.


The purpose of this role to enable the Technology team to have greater capacity and exposure to Cloud Database technology.


This will include:

  • The build and maintenance of onprem SQL Data Bases
  • The build and maintenance of Azure SQL Instances
  • The administration of existing onprem SQL Servers
  • The maintenance of high availability of production SQL Databases and Servers
  • The maintenance and replication of production Databases to Azure managed instances.
  • The creation and design of solutions for hosting user interfacing data sets.

Skills Needed:

  • Previous experience as a DBA
  • Database design, documentation and coding
  • Azure SQL
  • SQL
  • MS Power Platform
